Following the announcement issued on Wednesday 13th January 2016, Maximum Motorsport would like to confirm the 2016 plans for the Volkswagen Racing Cup following a series of meetings at Autosport International.

Maximum Motorsport have worked tirelessly with team managers, individuals and organising bodies throughout the duration of the show to ensure any potential issues of the initial takeover plans following feedback were resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Maximum Motorsport have listened to teams involved in both series and have reduced the amount of series clashes that were initially released. Weekends where both championships are operating, initial plans are the Maximumgroup.net VAG Trophy will take place on a Saturday and the Milltek Sport Volkswagen Racing Cup will take place on a Sunday.
